Million Dollar Facial

This week I experienced the Million Dollar Facial, no it didn't cost that much but my skin feels like a million dollars!

The facial involves a double cleanse and steam, dermaplaning, microneedleing and hyaluronic acid. The cleanse feels refreshing and preps the skin for the treatment. Dermaplaning involves using a blade to take away the dead skin and any peach fuzz from your face. Microneedling was definitely the most uncomfortable part of the treatment but also the shortest. Its a little roller with sharp tiny needles on it that cause micro-trauma to the skin to encourage collagen to repair it. and Hyaluronic acid is nourishing for the skin, helps to hydrate and keeps the skin glowing.

The facial itself is good for targeting:

  • Pigmentation
  • Lines and wrinkles
  • Dull / tired skin
  • Acne scarring
  • Puffiness
  • Removal of peach fuzz
  • Rosacea
  • Acne breakouts
  • All skin types

And the list of benefits is even longer:

  • Elevated absorption levels of up to 80%
  • Brighter skin
  • Professional skin analysis
  • Smoother skin
  • Increased hydration levels with hyaluronic acid
  • Flawless makeup application
  • Reduces scarring
  • Firmer skin
  • Increases collagen production
  • Removes 3 to 4 weeks worth of dead skin cells
  • Thickens the epidermis over time to reduce appearance of broken capillaries
  • Lymphatic drainage removes built up toxins
  • Glowing, even skin tone
  • Reduces pigmentation inc (PIH)
  • Instant results with ongoing benefits (over 4 weeks)

I got mine done by Aimee Collier who does all her beauty treatments from home. Her treatment room is so lovely and relaxing, pink and rose gold accents all around. She was very sweet and easy to talk to. She made me feel comfortable and gave me great aftercare advice. She doesn't have a website but you can book in with her through her Instagram page HERE. I'll definitely be booking in again with her!
